Josh Berkus: 21 rules to happy consulting

Josh Berkus, Postgres guru and all-around pretty-smart-guy, posts an additional “Rule 21” to the 20 rules for happy database consulting he posted back in 2007. Both posts are worth the read.

I should read your blog more regularly. I followed the links to Josh Berkus’ rules. I read another post of his about plural vs singular table names. The comments included a reference to a new book by Date

Glad to hear you found a useful post. I’m not writing very much these days, so you could pretty easily catch up with a read once a week or even a month. I’ve got the “Database in Depth” book on the “To-Read” shelf myself. Looking forward to hearing how you like it.
