Following the purchase of Ximian announced earlier this week, Novell execs are floating trial balloons about moving all of the Netware services to a Linux base, off their proprietary OS. Sounds like a win-win to me: Novell gets a larger base of customers to sell their services to, and customers can get support for the underlying OS from a wider array of service providers.
